I was born in
1978. I grew up in Tarragona and during my university studies I lived in Barcelona (Catalunya - Spain).
I have a PhD in Social Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona)(2009). I also hold a Master's in Social Communication Research (2005) and a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication (2001), both from the aforementioned university.
From 2002 to January 2010, I worked as a resercher and associated lecturer at the Department of Communication of the Pompeu Fabra University. In 2004, I did a reseach visit at the Univeristy of Stockholm.
Since February 2010, I work as a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Hans Bredow Institut for Media Research in Hamburg (Germany). I am in charge of the project PSB-DIGITAL, which analyses those strategies implemented by Public Service Media in order to adapt to the multiplatform scenario.
